FIRST XI
Knaresborough First XI will be once again captained by Greg Pickles for the 2024 season. Greg was the leading run scorer in the division in 2023, and will be looking to replicate that achievement again this year.
Playing in the Championship West Division of the Yorkshire Premier League North, the team are aiming for promotion into the Premiership Division having made some good signings over the winter.
Blake Weymouth (overseas) joins us from Randwick Petersham, New South Wales & Ollie Fryer makes the move to Aspin Lane from Pateley Bridge CC.
SECOND XI
Knaresborough Second XI will have a new captain this year as Joe Reynolds steps up for the 2024 season. Joe has been a Knaresborough Cricketer all his life, coming through our junior ranks and Third XI.
Playing in Division 2 (Galtres) of the Yorkshire Premier League North, the Second XI also aim to achieve promotion this year.
Prospects become even more exciting in mid-June, as university students return to North Yorkshire having improved their cricketing ability immensely in their respective cities of study.
