The Kings travelled to Harrogate and put on a show during Great Yorkshire Show week.
Knaresborough racked up a great total of 344 with scores notable scores of 24 (O Ward) 21 (J Sutcliffe) 18 (W Mitchell) 16 (L Mitchell) 16 (L Robinson) only losing two wickets all innings.
Knaresborough then bowled well with Stalker recording great figures of 2-2. Further wickets for Will Mitchell and Joe Sutcliffe plus a run out resulted in a convincing 115 run victory.
The Knights were involved in all together closer game, and many parental finger nails were chewed.
Bowling first with a short boundary the Knights only took one wicket (Tom Artindale) but kept the score down to 288 with some tight bowling from Charlie Porter, Connor Molly, Joe Lindsay and Daniel Burrell.
The Knights batting started with no wickets down from first pair Artindale and Burrell. Fireworks followed from the second pair of Timmis and Lindsay scoring 48 between them, three sixes for Lindsay and two for Timmis. The last pair of Rochester and Porter came to the crease with a tough task ahead and this became harder with the loss of three wickets, meaning they needed 24 off the last three overs. They rose to the occasion however, with five boundaries between them, resulting in a fantastic two run victory.
Well done all.
